To begin each checkup, a veterinary technician will take your pet’s weight and temperature. She will also ask some basic questions regarding your pet’s health. This information will help the doctor to identify medical issues or problems that can affect your pet’s health.
Afterwards the doctor will come into to room to perform a thorough examination of your cat or dog. He or she will listen to your pet’s heart and lungs, check ears, eyes, teeth and joints as well as look at your pet’s skin. The veterinarian will also do routine intestinal and parasite screenings. A wellness exam is also a great opportunity for us to address any questions or concerns you may have about your pet.
The veterinarian will then discuss any concerns or recommendations they feel will benefit your pet. You pet’s health is our biggest priority!!
