Dr. Haskin grew up in South Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Hofstra University in 1993. He proceeded on to obtain his Veterinary Degree from Ross University which included completing one year of clinical work at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Haskin has been the owner and practicing veterinarian of Pet Vet since 1997. His special interests include, but are not limited to internal medicine and surgery. Outside of the office, Dr. Haskin enjoys studying Kabbalah and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Claudia Martinez was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the U.S. when she was 5. She grew up in California and then moved to South Florida when in High School. Dr. Martinez obtained her Bachelor Degree in 2006 and her Veterinary Degree in 2010 from the University of Florida. After graduation, she completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship in New York City. Since, Dr. Martinez has been practicing as a general doctor in South Florida. Professionally, her interests include Oncology, Cardiology and Geriatric Care. Keeps Dr. Martinez has one chihuahua named Cocoa Bean who keeps her on her toes. In Dr. Martinez’s free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and watching college football (Go Gators!!). Dr. Martinez is very excited to be part of the Pet Vet family.
Dr. Kendall Stratton is originally from Rhode Island and grew up a New Englander for her entire youth. Go Pats!! She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Delaware in 2004 an her Veterinary Degree from Cornell University in upstate New York in 2010. Dr. Stratton initially started her career in equine practice but transitioned to small animal general practice in 2013. Since being in practice, Dr. Stratton has developed interests in dentistry, dermatology and ophthalmology. At home Dr. Stratton enjoys a busy life with her husband Greg, a pilot in the Coast Guard, and their five dogs ( 2 french bulldogs, 1 american bulldog, 1 english bulldog mix and 1 setter/retriever mix) and one cat. When not at work or with family, Dr. Stratton can usually be found in the gym strength training of working on her boxing skills.
